Transportation
As an AmeriHealth Caritas New Hampshire member, you have access to transportation benefits. These benefits include emergency transportation and non-emergency transportation needs.
Emergency transportation: If you need emergency transportation (an ambulance), call 911.
Non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT)
We offer three types of non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT). This is for when you need a ride to a medically necessary service, such as a doctor visit. We also help with up to 14 one-way social trips (non-medical) to qualified destinations each calendar year. You must use the Family and Friends Mileage Reimbursement Program if you have a car, or when a friend or family member with a car can drive you.
