Transportation
As an AmeriHealth Caritas New Hampshire member, you have access to transportation benefits. These benefits include emergency transportation and non-emergency transportation needs.
Emergency Transportation
If you need emergency transportation (an ambulance), call 911.
AmeriHealth Caritas New Hampshire can help you get to your covered health care visits and other medically necessary services. We can also help you get to certain non-medical destinations through our Social Trips benefit. Read below to learn how to use our Family and Friends Program to be reimbursed per mile.
For authorized non-emergency transportation, you must follow plan rules to get reimbursement or transportation services
To request non-emergency transportation, call: 1‑833‑301‑2264 at least two business days in advance.
Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday: 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Thursday and Friday: 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.
If you are unable to keep an appointment, call the CTS transportation line as soon as possible to cancel or reschedule the ride.
